What services do you offer?

We specialize in vehicle glass repair and replacement, including windshields, side windows, rear windows, sunroofs. ADAS Recalibrations both Static & Dynamic

How do I know if my windshield needs to be repaired or replaced?

Generally speaking, small chips under the size of a quarter can be repaired. Larger chips/cracks or damage in the driver's line of sight typically require a full replacement.

Do you provide mobile services?

Yes, we offer mobile repair and replacement services. We can come to your home, office, or any convenient location.

Repair and Replacement Process

How long does a windshield repair take?

A typical windshield repair can be completed in about 20 mins or less.

How long does a windshield replacement take?

Windshield replacement usually takes about 45 mins to 1 hour as long as we have your glass in stock.

If your vehicle is equipped with ADAS (advanced driver assistant system) it will require recalibration. This service can only be provided in shop and can take 1-2 hours depending on the type of recalibration needed.

What should I do after my windshield is replaced?

Avoid automatic car washes for 24-48 hours, leave the tape in place for at least 24-48 hours to ensure proper bonding.

Insurance and Payment

Do you work with insurance companies?

Yes, we work with most major insurance companies and can help you with the claims process.

Will my insurance cover the cost of the repair or replacement?

Coverage varies by policy. Many insurance plans cover windshield repairs with no deductible, and some cover replacements with a deductible. (Glass generally falls under your comprehensive coverage.)

How do I file an insurance claim for a glass repair or replacement?

Contact your insurance company to file a claim, they will need your policy number, date of loss and a brief description of what happened.

Tell them you have a glass company you want to use and give them our name: Tri-State Auto Glass and shop number (901) 552-4605.

They will call us to verify pricing and then send over a dispatch form. Once we have the dispatch form we can order your glass & get you scheduled. We will handle all paperwork and direct billing.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, & Venmo. (NO Personal Checks)

Warranty and Quality

Do you offer a warranty on your services?

Yes, we offer a lifetime warranty on our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle.

What kind of glass do you use for replacements?

We use OEM Equivelent, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) available upon request.

Did you know your windshield is considered a safety feature of your vehicle and must meet DOT specs in order to be manufactured & installed?

Will my new windshield have the same features as the original?

Yes, if you answered the questions correctly regarding your vehicle options. If you are unsure, we strongly suggest providing your VIN (vehicle identification number) we can then match the original specifications, including features like rain sensors, lane departure warning system, forward collision, heated, antenna, etc.

Safety and Standards

Is it safe to drive immediately after a windshield replacement?

In most cases, yes, on larger vehicles such a big truck, we recommend waiting at least one hour before driving to allow the adhesive to set properly.

What should I do if I have a small chip or crack?

Schedule a chip repair as soon as possible to prevent the damage from spreading and compromising the safety of your vehicle.

Can a repaired windshield crack again?

While repairs are designed to restore the integrity of the glass, there's a small chance that the repair could fail, or the crack could spread due to extreme conditions.

Convenience and Scheduling

Do I need an appointment for a repair or replacement?

In shop: While we do not offer appointments, we do strongly recommend calling the day before you plan to come so we can order your glass and have it at our shop. We do accept walk-ins based on availability, but please be advised wait times will be longer.

Mobiles: While we do offer mobile service, we generally stay booked out 1-2 days in advance on mobiles. We cannot offer time slots or time frames when it comes to our mobiles as we cover such a wide area, and things change in the field by the minute. When scheduling a mobile service, we ask that the vehicle be available all day and the technician will call you when they are heading your way.

 How do I schedule an appointment?

Can you repair or replace glass on all vehicle makes and models?

Yes, we can repair or replace glass on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including all cars, trucks, SUVs, commercial vehicles. We also service RVs, Big trucks, and Classis Cars.
